Captain Ethan has expertly guided fishing excursions from the expansive waters of Tampa Bay all the way down to the vibrant Florida Keys! Fishing and scuba diving have always been a deep-rooted passion of Ethan’s. He truly enjoys employing a variety of fishing techniques throughout the year, skillfully targeting the diverse range of fish species that inhabit the west coast of Florida. While he predominantly favors using live bait to entice fish, there are occasions when he opts for cut bait or artificial lures to maximize success. Fishing is truly a science, requiring an understanding that each targeted species demands the appropriate techniques to achieve the very best results. Over the past 20+ years of dedicated fishing experience, Ethan has uncovered numerous secret spots throughout our local waterways, and he is genuinely excited to share these hidden gems with you, ensuring you have an unforgettable time on the water, catching fish like a genuine local angler.

Ethan is a seasoned charter captain, having been raised fishing and diving off Anna Maria Island as well as in the Tampa Bay area. He loves sharing his immense passion for the sport with others and takes great pride in educating guests about the incredible local wildlife found throughout Florida’s coastal ecosystem. Ethan holds several prestigious certifications: he is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, a PADI Master Scuba Diving Trainer, an Emergency First Responder Instructor, and a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain with a 25-ton license. His fishing journey began early—he started fishing at just 3 years old with his father, and took his first scuba dive around age 12, also alongside his dad. Becoming a PADI professional was a lifelong dream for Ethan since taking his first breath underwater with scuba diving gear. When he’s not exploring the underwater world, you can find him out fishing until the sun dips below the horizon.
