Basic Details About Our Bowfishing & Gigging Charters

Trip Lengths : Our bowfish hunting trips will last 2 hours or 4 hours long. Our charter length just depends how much fun you want to have!
Max capacity for bowfishing charter is 4 people. Clients don’t have to bowfish to come on the trip. This activity is a lot of fun for the entire family!
Charter start time : We offer daytime and night time charters but we will typically bowfish at night. The charter will start 30 minutes after sunset.
Why we like to shoot at night : At night we use six 120W in-water lights so you have no visual glare like you would at day time. You will have a really good spread of lights in the water allowing the best possible chance to see the fish clearly. Bowfishing at night and under the cover of darkness gives you the ultimate advantage to sneak up on the fish for the perfect shot. It’s truly a blast for the entire family!
What fish do we target bowfishing : Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Mullet, Ladyfish, Jack Crevally, Cownose Stingray, Southern Stingray, & a few other fish throughout the year that are seasonal.
Ages we recommend to bowfishing : Typically a 12 year old should be able to shoot our compound bows. The age varies on the average size of the kid. Women and teens will be just fine shooting our bows. Kids of all ages are allowed to ride along on the charter but they will be counted as a shooter.

What We Provide For Bowfishing Charter
We provide a fishing license for up to 4 people.
We provide two complete compound bowfishing combos for 2 shooters to use at a time. Shooters will rotate allowing time to rest in-between all the fun action.
We use the PSE D3 Compound bows with a jug fishing reel with 250lbs test & a good sight.
We will provide waters for everyone.
We provide a cooler for the fish that will be shot during our charter.

Closed Toe Shoes : All Clients should wear closed toe shoes if possible for better balance. Flip flops could cause you to possibly trip on something or slip and fall.
Can You Bring Your Own Equipment : Yes, a client can bring their own bow or gig that is already set up for bowfishing and gigging. Please know if a client chooses to bring their own equipment we are not responsible for any misshapen or damages to the clients personal equipment on this trip in any way.
We recommend the client brings a cooler with drinks and snacks for the trip. Alcohol is allowed. NO Glass!
